CryptDS is a file encryption application developed by Driven Solutions and features AES-256 encryption. AES-256 encryption is the same encryption used by the United States Government to encrypt classified documents. CryptDS makes Android encryption easy and simple to use.
CryptDS requires only three screen touches to encrypt or decrypt a file. Once you start the encryption process, the process is completed in a short time. Once a file is encrypted, the encrypted file appears with a key symbol next to the name to indicated that it is an encrypted file. Decryption of a file is just as easy. There will be a CryptDS desktop companion application released later this year that allows synchronization of Android and Desktop encrypted files.
