An offline (off-line), self-contained, stand-alone, color road and highway map / atlas of 17 western states of the United States (USA).

It covers western US states including Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. It excludes Alaska and Hawaii

Once installed it does not require any Internet connection. It reacts quickly to simple gestures for zoom and pan and works anywhere. It is particularly suitable for an eReader (e-book reader) such as the Kobo.

The top level is a map of the western states , below which there here are 5 more zoom levels. It shows numbered interstate highways, US routes, state highways and some other roads but not individual streets. At maximum zoom in, the scale is approximately 6 to 9 miles to 1 inch of screen depending on latitude and screen density. This is not a street map. It has a searchable gazetteer of over 18,000 place names and over 12,000 zip codes. A selected place or a zip code can be temporarily marked and then deleted.

The app does not record any information on usage. Nor does it include any advertising. Uses US Census data, US National Atlas data, data from the XYZ Map company and some OpenStreetMap (OSM) data.
