Treespot Tychy is a free mobile guide system dedicated not only for visitors but also for the inhabitants looking for up-to-date information about interesting places and events in the city.

It is the application based on six modules: places, events, news, transport, planner and QR code scanner. It allows to search the objects which are near the user, who can for example dispaly the information about the hotels, restaurants, pubs, sports and culture centres and their positions.

Additionally, you can find bicycle and walking routes across the most interesting sights. The important element of the application is the schedule with the possibility to search the connections. All the places and events in the app can be saved in the planner.

The biggest advantages of the application are: upgraded database of objects, events and news, the application works off-line (Internet connection is used only to download the latest data and a wider range of the map), perspicuous interface helps the users easily get to the interesting information, so at any time and place they know where to go and what to see.

The application uses GPS only to determine the user's location and how far away from user are objects presented in the application. You can turn off finding your position in the application settings screen. If location services are turned off position is displayed in the center of Tychy city.

To ensure access to the latest content application retrieves information from the remote server when user launches update process (about 8 MB of data). While application is running it also downloads photos and GPX trails when they should to be displayed. To avoid the cost of mobile transferring use WiFi network.
