Tomato by Tomato is a simple task management application based on the Pomodoro Technique. You can manage a series of tasks by name, and run them for a “pomodoro time” (25 minutes by default). After the pomodoro, you will have a break time (5 minutes by default), and then you can continue with the task or start a different task. After a series of pomodoros (4 by default), you will take a long break (30 minutes by default) instead of a short one. The list of tasks will display the name of each task, and a counter with the number of pomodoros you’ve worked on each task. Optionally, you can run a pomodoro without selecting a task from the list. This allows a simpler usage of the application, using it as a simple timer for the Pomodoro Technique. You can customize the time a pomodoro lasts, as well as the time for the short break and the long break. You can also set the number of pomodoros you want to work before a long break.
