I was given a guitar at the age of ten…

and haven’t shut the f#?k up since!

But seriously, My lessons were actually on a piano, then quickly realizing that the guitar was my passion. Having been blessed with music which ran in the family, I was introduced to music at quite a young age and attached myself to it.

I played Piano, Guitar and Drums and all the while improving my vocal abilities by taking on all styles of music as a challenge. I had gone from classical/modern piano, to acoustic guitar, then fell in love with the sounds of Metallica

These tastes branched out and later in my teenage years found myself in a Canberra Hardcore metal band ‘Bastard Son’, After a while we changed the name to ’4DEAD’. I played in a Northern Territory cover band strangely named ‘Sox 4 Dad’! This was a 2man, 5piece band, with Aaron Beattie, the second of the duo, playing drums, bass, keys and vocals at the same time!

Then going solo, I Had one of my first gigs playing at the ‘Barra Nationals’, one of the most prestigious events in the Northern Territory at the Daly River N.T. with an audience of over 250 people for 7 days.

Also during my time in the territory, I entered a competition and won the Darwin Heat, I also got through to the semi-final heat of ’The Telstra Road To Discovery’ competition.

Now, I am a bit more laid back and focusing on trying to perfect my acoustic sound, These days I play solo gigs at pubs and clubs, weddings and functions, or just jamming with mates and friends at backyard BBQ”S

For the last few years I have been recording original songs and juggling my music recording with my family and work.
