I have over 20 years experience as a Travel Agent, working in both a corporate environment, as well as in retail selling leisure holidays.

I have been an independent Travel Broker for just over a year now, and have been very successful in my business growth. In October 2013 I was awarded The Travel Brokers Marketeer of the Year 2013 at the National Business Awards conference held in Hawaii. I love the extra flexibility the independence of being a Broker gives me, being able to access deals from any supplier gives me the opportunity to match deals that you have seen advertised elsewhere.

I understand the corporate travellers world, where building a relationship of trust in your consultant means everything. I have clients who have remained loyal to me for 13 years or more for that exact reason. My attention to detail is excellent, I look outside the square to give options & solutions to travel requests that will please the traveller, sometimes being able to offer a saving made in the fare, or in the travel time required by a better routing option, or perhaps a special upgrade cost option available on that last leg home to ensure you are well rested on your return.

Emirates Airlines rewarded me with a trip to Dubai for top sales with the airline, and I was hosted along with other Agents & Brokers from NZ & Australia for a week in this fascinating city of contrasts in May 2013, experiencing all the top sightseeing attractions in Dubai.

I have a passion for Asia, having holidayed in Bali & Singapore many times, travelled to Kuala Lumpur & through Thailand. I have holidayed in Cairns, the Sunshine Coast, and the Gold Coast and its wider areas numerous times, holidayed in Hawaii, and in the gorgeous South Pacific islands of Fiji & Vanuatu multiple times, as well as Rarotonga & Noumea. I consider myself a ‘beach resort expert’, whether you are after a 5 star luxury resort, a family resort with packages like “kids stay, play & eat free”, or an ‘all inclusive” resort where all your activities, meals & drinks are all included - it is likely that I have either stayed there, or have visited it! Family holidays are of special interest to me, with my 2 primary school aged children, I am always keeping an eye out for great family deals, and will happily talk through all the pros and cons of the varying resort options for you to compare, with my wealth of first hand experience, having holidayed there with my own children.

I have cruised on ships small and large, from the gorgeous Fijian Yasawa islands on Captain Cook Cruises, a short Med cruise from Greece to Italy, to the huge & luxurious Holland America Line’s MS Volendam - cruising through NZ waters. I have experienced coach touring first hand, having let the experts plan the itinerary, do the driving, and book in the accommodation & sightseeing – all there is left for you to do is enjoy the experience! I have travelled though the UK, most of Western Europe, and have also been to Disneyland in Anaheim.

I am well qualified with the highest level in Travel, - NZQA Level 4 of ATTTO, and have 8 papers in NZIM Supervisory Management. I am TAANZ Bonded with full personal Indemnity Insurance, and use a Trust account with The Travel Brokers, for your security.
