TUOMI LWP Lone Worker Protection
TUOMI has developed the LWP application specially for the ToughShield R500. It protects people in potentially hazardous situations. This application enables businesses or private individuals to provide immediate help to staff, family members or friends in need of emergency assistance and support.
If you have a ToughShield R500 Phone, you can initiate an alarm phone call using the dedicated Panic Button. In addition, GPS location coordinates can be sent via SMS and email messages.
If the Man Down function has been activated and it detects that the user has been in an abnormal position for a significant length of time, the smartphone calls for help, automatically generating a hands-free voice call, and text (SMS) and email messages with the GPS location coordinates. When an emergency voice call is initiated, the phone switches to speakerphone mode, enabling 2-way voice communication with the user.
Note ToughShield R500:
To use the application you have to install the Firmware 01057_20130314 or above.
