Protect your phone or tablet by installing this tracking app giving you security by leaving a trail from your phone / tablet if it is lost or stolen by sending emails or SMS messages to you with information to help you retrieve your device.

Features:

- Spoor is phone / tablet tracking software with photos / face trap.

- Spoor is constant security, and will automatically take a photo of a thief when they fail to unlock your device.

- Spoor can be set as a security monitor to check your home and work addresses and let you know by email or SMS when the device has been away from either location.

- Spoor requires no registration, just set it up and it will work as your security / tracking software monitoring your device in the background.

The email that you get from Spoor will contain the battery level, the location (including google maps link and approx address), the last time your device was near any locations defined in Spoor (e.g Home or Work), nearby wireless access points and their signal strength.

This information should help you to track down your device and retrieve it.

It can also just be used as a bit of fun at the home or office to see who is trying to unlock your phone or tablet.

Spoor Lite is limited to just 10 photos, but will still give you all the other benefits of Spoor.

Spoor uses various permissions, they are listed here with the reasons they are needed:

- CAMERA: Required for taking pictures for tracking the device

- WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Required for storing pictures and other files

- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required for checking if in Flight mode, and checking internet connectivity

- ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: Required for checking current wifi state

- CHANGE_WIFI_STATE: Required for enabling wifi, if it is currently not enabled

- INTERNET: Required for sending emails from Spoor

- SEND_SMS: Required for sending SMSs from Spoor

- ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Required for getting the device location

- ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION: Required for getting the device location

- ACCESS_MOCK_LOCATION: Required for testing the proximity alerts

- VIBRATE: Required for vibrating when proximity notification are fired

- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Required for starting the Spoor service when the device is started

- WAKE_LOCK: Required to ensure the device doesn't go back to sleep during a lost check

- GET_ACCOUNTS: Required to pick a GMail account from a list

- USE_CREDENTIALS: Required to choose a GMail account and use the OAuth token
