Please note:

This app depends on already having installed either

-Security Check or

-SmartLock

Security Check

Allows you to set a new device passphrase if you have forgotten the current one. Simply enter your new passphrase here and press "Set new passphrase".

Please note that if you have a passphrase policy installed (e.g. minimal length or special characters) this new passphrase should meet these criterias, although this app will try to disable policies when setting a new passphrase.

The passphrase will be changed immediately. Security Check will display a notification after changing the passphrase.

SmartLock

In case of having trouble with SmartLock you can set a new SmartLock-passphrase (in case you have forgotten the old one) or completely disable SmartLock.

Additional notes

This app is fired after your device is booted and runs even on a locked device. Simply wait for this app after rebooting. Because permanently running this application is a security risk (anyone getting hands on this device can set a new passphrase) this app is automatically uninstalled after finishing. You can also uninstall it by pressing appropriate button.
