Sleeping Giant State Park features two miles of mountaintop resembling a sleeping giant and make it a distinguishing feature on Connecticut's skyline. Go Green and download this free app which contains a detailed trail map of the park. Never get lost again by using your phone's GPS to show exactly where and which trail you're on.

I am in no way affiliated with the CT DEP or the SGPA. I am a local hiker who enjoys exploring Sleeping Giant without getting lost. I've tested this app on the mountain and have had much success.

The GPS reliability of this application is only as good as the GPS hardware and software of your phone. It may be difficult to get a GPS reading in certain parts of the mountain that contain a lot of tree cover or towering cliffs. It helps to move around while attempting to capture a signal.

This app in no way guarentees your safety or that you will not get lost.

Because of the various screen sizes and densities the location map may not scale to overlay correctly on Google Maps. Please let me know which phone you are using and I will try to make the necessary adjustments to the app.
