This simple speech timer provides a clean and simple way to time speeches, debates, or other timed events with little complexity. Ideal for judges or presenters, the high contrast text-on-black background make it easy to read at a glance, from close or far. Designed for noise-sensitive locations, the timer either stops or uses color changes to indicate time warnings and expiration.

This first version focuses on basic operation, and we have many feature upgrades in store. In this version you can:

- Use the application in portrait or landscape modes (landscape modes are ideal for presenters using the timer as a visual aid with a stand such as the Tiko Fold)

- The timer can count up or count down

- The timer can be paused and restarted from its current time

- The timer can stop on expiration or continue timing "in overtime", shown in red text

- An adjustable warning can be set to indicate time limits with yellow text

- Remaining time can be quickly adjusted with a slider bar

- The timer will keep timing during interruptions such as incoming calls, etc, and will resume properly when re-opened. Note: if the timer completes during the interruption, the user will not be aware of this until the application is re-opened.

- The timer application can be configured to prevent the screen from locking or going to sleep.
