These were the words that were plastered over every news feed. It was an unassuming Saturday afternoon in a popular shopping district when it all went down. No one suspected anything of its magnitude would happen in the highly populated highbrow district. Friends and family crowded the shop fronts, while tourists filed from a bus, eager for photo opportunities and to snatch up souvenirs for those back home. A group of criminals break out on the scene, escalating chaos and terrorizing the city. Tourists are left stranded by the theft of their bus, families flee in terror and the youth dive for cover to avoid the violence. Robbing stores, stealing cars and shooting at everything that comes their way, these villains have created quite a distraction as more of them scheme to break into the financial district's offices and banks for an even larger payout.

Meanwhile...

He lived in the graveyard, raised by the ghosts of his military past: he, the one who lived. It was dark in his corner of the world, shadowed by several overgrown trees. He preferred it this way. There was no place for him in this world, and he who was once a feared and honored solder, was now no better than a homeless vagrant. He missed the thrill of the hunt, consumed by the taste of blood and haunted by the dreams of victory. A fellow vagrant approached him, his too-big clothing draped over his malnourished body like a burlap sack. "Hero! Hero!" he called, jogging at a hobbled pace. He snort at the nickname. "Hero! It's time. The city is under attack. They need you." Standing abruptly, he peered into the eyes of this man. He was serious, and fear filled his eyes, even as the stains of blood bloom across the sides of his clothes. "Get yourself to a hospital," he orders the man, rage filling him. "I'll take care of these thugs..."

~~~SHOOT FAST, KILL HARD~~~

When you enter the scene, you will be unarmed. You will need to locate a discarded weapon and equip it in order to start fighting the criminals who plague the district. A selection of weapons can be found throughout the level, including swords and knifes and also machine guns, assault rifles, pistols, and sniper rifles. Along with these weapons are a scattering of health packs and ammo. Collect these perks and reserve them, for the maps will only increase in challenge from here. Utilize exploding barrels and blast past enemies as you defend the city and bring these villains to their knees.
