GAME STORY

Nosocomial infections in the hospitals and clinics are out of control and one of the leading causes of preventable death in medicine. According to the Centers for Disease Control, an estimated roughly 1.7 million hospital-associated infections, from all types of microorganisms, including bacteria, combined, cause or contribute to over a 100,000 deaths each year worldwide. While the nurses and doctors are currently understaffed and doing their best to prevent these organisms clinically. Taking a different route, as a nursing student, but still an unlicensed clinician, you have been carefully selected and promoted as an honorary ninja to engage in hand-to-hand combat with these organisms in a variety of settings in the community. By splicing the right answer (disguised in shapes that resemble the pili of bacteria) to various nursing questions, you beat back the threat of future infections in your hospital. At the same time, you are accelerating your path towards your desired nursing degree so you can join the front lines one day to combat these organisms with your nursing super powers on the wards and clinics.
