This is the initial iOS release of the Random Student app for teachers. Try it now for the low introductory price. Many more features are planned in 2015. Please feel free to contact the developer at support@inpocketsolutions.com to give feedback or suggestions. There is no need for teachers to use popsicle sticks or playing cards to call on students at random. Now teachers are able to use their iPhone to call on students in a fair manner and use the text to speech option so students can hear their name called aloud. In my classroom I allowed the students to push the button to select the next student at random. This really takes teacher bias out of the selection process and the students really feel a need to answer when the device speaks their name.
