Vatican Radio’s first App for Windowsphone puts the emphasis on multimedia.

One App to access all: news updates, feature programs, live video feeds, web pages, audio channels, and more: the chance to follow the Pope’s activities every day.

And the App is free.

The App opens onto the Pope’s public Agenda. Languages available with this first version are: English, Italian, French, Spanish and Chinese.

Vatican TIC is a system created and produced by Vatican Radio that allows you to view text and audio content related to each item on the Agenda. It also provides you with real time information about live audio and video broadcasts of papal events, produced in collaboration with the Vatican Television Centre (CTV) and lets you read the text of papal speeches published on the Vatican website: www.vatican.va.

You can download videos on demand, choosing your language among those on offer. The same language choices apply for radio commentaries in live streaming.

The App also offers an exclusive News feature providing breaking news stories from the Church and around the world. The Radio feature comprises five audio channels that correspond to Vatican Radio’s broadcast network of over 70 daily programmes in 40 different languages. The same channels are used for FM, AM, SW, satellite, and other broadcasts.
