Pickin' Sticks is a simple, "Hello World"-like approach to game development. The Beginner's Guide to Game Programming tutorial guides you through programming your own Pickin' Sticks game with C++, and there are countless ports for various systems - Sega Master System, ColecoVision, Nintendo DS, etc.
