Over the two weeks of the event, Città Alta is temporarily transformed into a picture of urban landscaping which has, as its living centre, Piazza Vecchia, dressed all in green for the occasion.
Besides creating a marvellous platform for meetings and events, and an irresistible attraction for thousands of people, the Piazza Verde (Green Square) is thought-provoking in that it directs public attention to the positive importance and the implications of the landscape and landscaping ideas.
A place for privileged encounters and for debates, the historical Piazza - one of the most beautiful in Italy - is transformed into an outdoor living room, enchants people from every walk of life, and offers to citizens and tourists the uniqueness of an ephemeral and one-off experience.
