Practise your phonics. Children learn phonics in school to help them read and write. This trial app has the first 4 sounds they learn (s, a, t & p). There are reading, writing, saying and sorting activities.

Say - Look at the letters, say the sound then click the letter to see if you are correct.

Sort - Listen to the word, what sound does it start with? Drag the picture to the correct letter.

Read - Look at the word, sound it out. Click he word to check if you are correct.

Spell - Listen to the word, write it on some paper, then check to see if you are correct.

All reading and spelling activities only use the letters that have already been learnt, letter are presented in the same order as they are taught in many UK schools who use "Letters and Sounds", although other schemes use a similar order.
