The duration of the first round is 100 seconds. Each consecutive round lasts 10 seconds less. So the second round would be 90 seconds, the third 80 seconds and so on. The maximum number of rounds is 10 but be aware that it may not be possible to complete a game in 40 seconds or less, even for the speediest user.

So how do you know which cartoon monster icons are paired? Monsterosis makes it fairly easy to guess. First, for two cartoon monster icons to be paired, they have to be identical or show the same cartoon. You can't match two dissimilar cartoon monster icons. Another hint provided by Monsterosis is that icons sitting next to each other are more likely to be paired or linked than those separated by other icons. Tap the Refresh button, bottom left, to reshuffle the cartoon monster icons so that linked pairs will sit closer to each other. You can also use the Find button, bottom right, to eliminate up to 3 connected cartoon monster icon pairs. Use this last feature if you are desperate because the round is about to finish. When a round's over, a window will pop up indicating either Success or Failure, and the time used to complete the round. Anything less than the duration of the round, is a success. Below that information, there are three buttons that let you control the flow of the game. If you click on the Red X button, you will exit the game.
