Optical character recognition for your Windows phone!

Turn your Windows phone into a document scanner with optical character recognition (OCR). MobileOCR will convert documents you capture with your phone to regular text and it will translate recognized text to the language of your choice. Captured documents, recognized text and translations can be saved locally and/or to your OneDrive account.

More than 30 input languages are supported, including:

English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (traditional and simplified), Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian.

Support for English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian language is included with installation, other language packs will be downloaded on first use. You can also manually download each language pack you plan to use (it is recommended you download additional language packs when Wi-Fi connection is available).

Recognized text can be translated to more than 30 languages, including:

English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (traditional and simplified), Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Arabic, Persian, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian.

Please note: MobileOCR will not recognize handwriting, text in cursive fonts or text in natural scenes.
