Khalsa Shaouni Inc is a nonprofit organization based in Plumpton. The organization came into existence to start and run the Gurdwara Sahib (Sikh Temple) for the community. The term Khalsa refers to ‘Purity’ and Shaouni as ‘Place’. It is a place to purify ourselves via mediation.A Gurdwara, meaning the gateway to the guru, is the place of worship for Sikhs. However, people of all faiths are welcomed here.This Gurdwara Sahib will be the centre of the Sikh community, spreading the values of Sikhism and fulfilling the religious needs of the community.
