The 'Kana Japana Smart Chart' is a simple app to help make the translation between Hiragana, Katakana & Romanji. If you're currently relying on the huge double-page kana chart at the back of your school text book, then this app will be a godsend.

Not only is the Kana Japana Smart Chart leaner and better looking, but it also includes a set of filter buttons to help you quickly find 'that L shaped one with the little circle' instead of hunting through all 71 characters for the correct one.

The chart is composed of super-crisp SVG images which look great on tablets (plus PNGs for older devices without SVG support).

Known issues:

● Button cut off on some smaller devices when in landscape view.

● Performance issues; particularly on older devices.

● Low quality of PNG fallbacks on some devices.

● Font size issues on some devices.

Planned features:

● Improved filter navigation.

● Character enlargement for smaller devices.

● Gesture based character search.
