Welcome to the 2014 Industrial Athletic Hawkes Bay Open. 291 CrossFit Athletes will be competing at NZ largest individual CrossFit competition on Sat 25th & Sun 26th January 2014 at the Hastings Sports Stadium, Railway Rd, Hastings.
Make sure you get down and visit as you will see some of New Zealand’s fittest, strongest and fastest Athletes battling it out for the a total prize pool in excess of $20,000 and the bragging rights for a year.
The two days will be jammed packed with 7 WoD’s (Workouts of the Day) 10 Events and all completed in 20 hours of competing time. There are 4 Divisions, RX Male & Female, Scaled Male & Female, Master Male & Female, and the Teen Gauntlet; Varsity Girl & Boys, and Junior Varsity Girl & Boys.
Not to mention that there will be spectator events like strong man, and even WoD's, there will be food and beverages on sale and health promotors, retailers and athletes that you can all visit and meet. Get up close with Hawkes Bays own Kevin Manuel and Erin Gladstone who are trying to qualify for the 2014 CrossFit Games.
