The name In Vino Veritas, comes from the first time we used this approach to improve trust between team members. We took a troubled team out for dinner and noticed the team was limiting the after dinner conversation to polite small talk. Trying to break the ice we started our first ever In Vino Veritas. We ordered good wine for the table and started a round robin of deep personality questions. We immediately noticed the pleasant surprise as persons started to open up to each other. At work, the next day the atmosphere had changed to one of more trust.
