The main theme of the Hospital Authority Convention 2013 (HAC2013) is “Consolidating HealthcAre 固本培員‧健行不息”. The Convention will explore and discuss the philosophies and concepts about strengthening collaboration between various healthcare professions, partners and stakeholders for sustainable quality healthcare services. We will also share knowledge and experience on approaches to modern healthcare service and planning.

For Convention 2013, we are delighted to have about 60 distinguished overseas and local speakers to share their knowledge and insights and interact with delegates. The Plenary Sessions and Symposiums will focus on the main theme and the following subthemes:

a. Sustaining Quality Healthcare Services

b. Partnering for Healthcare

c. Utilising Healthcare Resources

d. Modernising Healthcare

e. Ensuring Emergency Preparedness

The Convention will also feature a number of Special Topic Sessions on " China Healthcare", "Medical Leadership", "New Models of Healthcare Delivery System" and "Medical Simulation". There will also be Masterclasses and Parallel Sessions on the topics of "Recent Surgical Developments", “New Frontiers in Medicine”, "Toxicology Services" and "Engaging Staff for Performance" etc.
