Everyday people right across the country are out campaigning for a Yes vote. They’re doing so because they know that Scotland’s future can, should and must be in Scotland’s hands.

You don’t need to be a hardened political campaigner to help Scotland seize this historic opportunity. Yes Youth and Students made it very easy for you to stay informed and have the arguments to hand, so that you’re always ready to discuss the benefits of a Yes vote whenever and wherever you need to.

For Yes voters:

If you’ve already decided to #voteYes and want to help your friends understand the issues, then the #activeYes app is definitely for you. You can:

- Keep up do date with #IndyRef news

- Get involved in campaigning using YesMo and the Yes Youth and Students Mine+9* campaigning tools

- Be reminded of important dates

- Find local events to attend

For Undecided voters:

If you’ve not made up your mind yet but are interested in finding out more about voting Yes then this app is for you too. You can get:

- Up-to-the-minute information about the Scotland’s Future

- Instant access to the IndyRef information line

- Details of local events you can attend where you can discuss the issues

- Notifications about important referendum news

For No voters:

You are equally encouraged to download the #activeYes app and get involved in the discussion about Scotland’s Future. We are confident that whenever people explore the reality and the reasons for voting Yes, it becomes clear that the referendum presents us with a choice between two futures. It also becomes clear that independence is the most advantageous choice to make in order to secure a better future the the people who choose to live in Scotland.

So as a No voter, please do download the #activeYes App too - at the very least - test your assertions, but more-so to explore the opportunity that a Yes vote presents.

*What is Mine+9?

Mine+9 is a campaigning framework [primarily] being used by Yes Youth and Students, designed to create an exponential increase in the number (and value) of the interactions the Yes campaign is already having with voters every day across the country.

You will be tasked with identifying 9 people (or more) and commit to helping them on their journey to voting Yes at the ballot box on September 18th.

Your 9 can be any of your neighbours, family, friends and/ or colleagues. Whoever they are, it is your job to provide them with information to inform their decisions around a Yes vote and to make sure - on the day - that they get out and vote Yes for this historic opportunity Scotland has.

You should then encourage those 9 people to get in direct contact with you if they have any questions they would like answered during the remaining days of the campaign. You will also be expected to make regular calls and visits to each of your 9 in order to share pertinent information with them.

This is a personalised approach that will make use of your existing networks, in a coordinated and personal way.

It’s a small ask of you individually, but collectively - the Yes message will be able to reach every person in Scotland on a regular basis, through your trusted and personal relationships.
