Color maps, where players use only four colors to shade in different shapes, are a challenge for all ages.

The Four Color Map game requires, and hones, a certain kind of visual thinking. The principle of the game is that the countries, or shapes, of any map can be filled in with four colors, while no countries with the same color may border each other. Countries may, however, touch corners with another country of the same color. A player's strategy becomes more important as the game progresses from simple maps to more complex geometrical map formations.

The game presents the player with generated blank maps to complete.

Select one of four colors (red, green, blue, or yellow) then touch each country to fill with the selected color.
