After the Carnival of Venice the largest costume festival of Europe. 10,000-25,000 people dressed up in either fantasy costumes or creations inspired by comics, manga, anime, sci-fi, furry, history, steampunk, vampirism and body art. The Elf Fantasy Fair, also known as Elfia amongst her fans, started 12 years ago as a small fantasy festival. But developed since then in a large outdoor public event with lectures from famous fantasy authors, actors from fantasy movies, music performances of folk- and medieval bands, shows and even re-enactment and larp battles.
