EQ2 Alt Gear is a simple but handy app to track all of your Alts (or your guild members' alts) equipment. It is the most useful during heroics or raids when you want to roll on something for your alt but you don't want to keep 20 eq2u windows open. It's also quite helpful for keeping track of what your alts could use for improvement. It lets you know which alts need the most help.

It's fairly easy to use. You add your usernames to the user list and choose what server you're on then Start the app. The Load function shows you the selected character and the Search button allows you to scan all Alts in the list for items of equal or lesser value to the searched number. Click any of the listed items will bring you to the details page for that item. The Back button will navigate back and forth between setup, listing, and details. The app uses a Caching system that can be refreshed using the Clear Cache button on the setup page.

This app uses the public Sony Online Entertainment Everquest II RESTful XML database.
