‘Dosage Monitor’ is an app that allows you to record remedy administration in an easy and user-friendly way. It reduces the amount of paperwork a farmer has to keep up to date to meet strict EU and Irish farming regulations.
Endorsed by Bord Bia, this app is free to download and promises to provide a cost effective way to keep remedy records organised and up to date.
Features include:
• Input own animal IDs and save to device
• Sort IDs by custom groupings
• Add/Edit/Delete remedy administration on farm
• Input withdrawal period of remedies
• See active and Non-active remedies
• Search for specific animal or group
• View by recorded dosages alone
Developed initially as part of a BT Young Scientist project, we aim to create a service that will be beneficial to both the everyday Irish farmer and the consumer of Irish beef.
