The app Citizen Request app is designed to encourage residents to become proactive citizens in taking care of and improving their city by reporting non-emergency issues anytime and from anywhere. It’s Quick, Easy and Social. App Prerequisites---------------------------------------Active Twitter Account-iPhone App Installed-Internet Access-Photo of Request-Contact Details Getting Started--------------------------------------When submitting your Citizen Request, the information you provided will be initiated by using your active Twitter account. If you are not already logged on to Twitter, please make sure you are logged in so that your submission works seamlessly with the Citizen Request app. If you don’t have a Twitter account, please create one here: http://www.Twitter.com Step-By-Step--------------------------------------Step 1:Login to your Twitter accountStep 2: Open the Citizen Request appStep 3: Complete your mini-profile. This is only performed for the first time so that your municipalities have information to contact you for additional information. This information is not shared on your Tweet, it is posted to a secure database on our system for reference.Step 4: Be present at the location of the request you are submitting and click “Pin” to pin the location on the map.Step 5: Select the appropriate “Request Type” for your submission.Step 6:Click “Send” to initiate add photo of the Request Type.Step 7:Attach photo from your library or using your camera, take a photo of the Request Type for submission.Step 8:A Tweet message box displays with the appropriate message to send to your Twitter account reporting the Citizen Request. Note: please do not modify the message since the information will be used for reporting purposes. If modifying message, please only modify only the #hash tagged request type.Step 9: Click send on the Twitter message box and your Citizen Request is posted to your Twitter account. You’re Done! Reports--------------------------------------- Search by ZIP code- View Submitted Requests- Custom Reports available to municipalities upon request. Basic reports can be reviewed through Twitter search and dashboards.
