Beer Shift is an application that showcases how to use a Platform as a Service as a backend for a mobile application. The backend for this application is PHP using CodeIgniter with mongodb all hosted on openshift.com.
With this application, you can search for beers and view the description from the brewery for that beer. You can also click to 'drink it' which will add it to your 'drank' collection.
A user may also view 'Keg Stand' which will display the last 50 beers drank by anyone using the application.
