1/100 is a weekly magazine featuring a collection of stories paired with photographs. Each story is precisely 100 words.

The stories are written by Michele Catalano, who started writing 100-word stories as a daily writing exercise. She eventually combined her love of digital photography processing with her love of flash fiction to create 1/100.

Michele has been writing on the internet in some form since 2001. She has been published by True/Slant, Forbes, Maura Magazine, Boing Boing, and The Magazine.

1/100 is published every Monday, featuring three or four stories. There will the occasional guest author, letters from the editor, and a call for submissions.

1/100 is a free download that includes a free issue. After that you can subscribe at $1.99 per month or $19.99 for a yearlong subscription. Your subscription revenues directly support the writing, editing, and production of 1/100. To read issues from before your subscription began, you must pay for them individually at $0.99 per issue.

When you become a subscriber, you can download any issue published while your subscription is active. If your subscription lapses, you will still be able to read the issues published while you were an active subscriber. Tap the “Restore” button to make previously purchased issues available on your iPhone, iPod, or iPad. You can update or cancel your subscription in your iTunes Store account settings.
