Version 1.3 handles the failover of the Web service to a backup service in the event that the primary fails (this enhancement was caused by a recent "Denial of Service" attack on our web hosting service, which rendered the App inoperable for a brief period).

Version 1.2 - additional handling of back button.

wSquawker displays foreign exchange market prices and optionally speaks (squawks) the values. The prices are supplied by Forex.com, a leading global e-broker, and as a result are an accurate reflection of the spot FX market.

The prices are real-time prices and are updated at a refresh rate set by the user varying from 5 seconds to 1 minute. There are indicators to show how the price has changed since the last update.

Any number of currency pairs can be active at any given moment, and for each currency pair, the user can set an upper limit to track against the bid price and an upper limit to monitor the ask rate. In addition, a zone may be defined in pips, above the lower rate and below the upper limit and if the relevant rate enters this zone, an indicator changes to highlight this.

When the limit is breached the indicator shows this very clearly.

So a user can see and hear rates as they change and track the market prices in real-time, and be alertsed instantly if a price breaches the user defined limits.
