This application helps to learn varnamala in Telugu language and gain reasonable knowledge about basic varnamala. The application interface consists of Telugu alphabet/ Telugu akshara, object name which is associated to the letter and the corresponding image with native speaker audio pronunciation.

Some of the alphabets which are not in popular use might have been excluded.

The targeted audiences are children and adults (mostly non-native speakers of Telugu) who are learning Telugu.

Pictorial representation:

Pictorial representation is among the effective factors that help user to learn basics of a language. It helps to associate sounds/words of a language with objects in real world.

Word pronunciation:

Native pronunciation of the word helps to learn the words without a second person’s or teacher’s help. A user can listen to as many times as they want and learn slowly. This would also improve their speaking abilities in the particular domain.

Auto sliding:

This feature helps to move word/object by word/object automatically. The user need not touch the screen to slide. This feature is more helpful for children. It is also facilitated to disable this feature at user's convenience by accessing application settings.
