A 3 mile circular walk from the busy fishing port of Mevagissey into the Portmellon Valley and through the West Bodrugan Woods nature reserve to the beachside village of Portmellon where boats have been built for hundreds of years, and still are.

The walk climbs Polkirt Hill and then crosses through Penwarne Manor into the Portmellon Valley to reach Galowras Mill. The route then follows the footpath through the West Bodrugan Wood nature reserve and meadows to Portmellon. From here the route follows the coast, descending to The Platt on Mevagissey's outer quays. The route then follows the quays back into Mevagissey and completes the circular route through back streets to the church.
