iShrine is a realistic and interactive Buddhist altar in the palm of your hand, you can now practice meditation wherever you are even while away from home.

You can choose the way your Buddhist altar is composed by keeping only the items you wish, just go the layout menu and pick up the items you want. All items were scanned from a genuine Buddhist altar.

Real-looking candles and incense are part of your altar, you may choose to light them up when you feel by touching them with your virtual match.

A Buddhist singing bowl ("Rin") as well as a Mokugyou wooden drum are also present and may be used to rythm your meditation or Sutra recitations and produce a high-fidelity sound digitized from the real instruments, a striker will appear as you touch them with a finger.

You may also choose a worship item to put on your altar, be it a Buddha statue or a frame with a picture from your picture library.

For people not familiar with the terminology used in Buddhism, introductory pages will quickly explain the different terms you need to know as well as their writings in Chinese characters when applicable.
