iBrother is watching for you!

This new App will turn your iPhone into a motion sensitive security surveillance system.

Have you ever worried that someone might break into your home? Do you have a spare iPhone (any iPhone, even the 2G will do)? Before selling it, use it to protect your home, apartment or property. You can also use it for watching over your child, wife, husband, etc., the possibilities are unlimited. It is up to you!

You can use it as a traditional alarm system that does not send e-mails, but makes an audible alert too.

How does it work?

iBrother will use the built-in camera of your iPhone (2G, 3G or 3GS) - iPod not supported - to recognize any motion and it will trigger an alarm and/or will send e-mails with pictures to a preset address. It is recommended to use a push-enabled e-mail account. This gives you the necessary time to act. It can also ring you if the device is moved or a predefined number of e-mails was sent.

iBrother features an arm countdown and a transparent overlay helping you to set up the angle of view of what you are observing. Aside from the thoroughly tested motion recognition algorithm, it can also automagically change the quality of the pictures taken according to the situation and connection speed. It will try to notify you as quickly as possible, but also get you some high-quality shots if it has the necessary time.

iBrother also uses the built-in Accelerometer to determine if the device was moved away from the position you have set it up.
