When you go to a price comparison site for insurance- Compare the market, beat that quote, Money supermarket, Go Compare, etc. Insurers are increasingly using your credit score as part of their premium calculation

Opening a current account

In fact any time you talk to the bank or other lender . If you know how creditworthy you are you can get the right price.
