Web Search Editor gives you a multi-line, expanding, word-wrapping, vertical-scrollable edit box with larger text and editing keys over the keyboard. The web search text is closer to the keyboard than your browser's web search line, for easier typing.

Select your web search engine, and if you don't get what you were looking for, just send the same web search to another engine without having to cut & paste.

Cursor moving keys are added: move forward or back one letter or word. Skip to the beginning or end of the web search, or Delete an entire word in one touch, and undo that if it was accidental. Place the cursor anywhere in a word and tap the Word Delete key to delete the word and leave the cursor in that location.

Your keyboard's suggestions and auto-correction still work, if you have them turned on. But there is no searching going on while you type, which often creates lags when you're entering a web search in the browser. The searching happens when you're done typing.

Keep the Web Search Editor open in the background, and switch to it whenever you need to search. It will be less frustrating than typing searches within the browser if you've got more than a few words to enter. But for short searches, you can still use your browser's address line as usual.

PRIVACY:

Web Search Editor does not access any of your personal information, nor does it interpret, track, or store your searches or any information about them. It's just an improved text editor that sends your web search text to the web search engine(s) you choose.

For your convenience, the most recent web search remains in the edit box when you switch back to the Web Search Editor, until you either close the Editor or tap the Clear button. When you tap Clear once, the last search is still in the Undo buffer so you can get it back, but tapping Clear twice erases the search completely; it's not kept in memory or a history by Web Search Editor.

* However, your browser and your web search engine will probably keep your searches in their histories until you clear them, and many web search engines (and some browsers) collect information about your searches. That's no different when using Web Search Editor than it is when entering searches directly in your browser, and is unavoidable since the Editor is forwarding your searches via your default browser.
