The WalkRightBy mobile app allows users to walk by events on their campus and be informed of what is going on around them. It requires the use of location services, but is optimized for accuracy and battery usage. When your school creates an event and the area it is taking place, walking through this area will allow the mobile app to notify you of the event.
Want to know about events without having to go out and find them? Flick a switch in settings and be informed of events as soon as they become available.
Each event is constructed with a name, category, start time, end time, and description. If you are uninterested in a certain category of events, block them in settings.
The app is simple to use: leave it running in the background to collect and be notified of information about events around you, or open it up as you walk through events to see them pop into the list in the app.
