The college is located on Madurai Sivagangai Road, about 19 kms from Madurai city limit and 22 kms from Sivagangai city. The college campus spreads over a spacious area of 80 acres. The college was started in the year 2001 with three branches of study, namely Computer Science, Electronics & Communication and Information Technology. In 2002, Electrical & Electronics was included. In 2004, Civil and Mechanical Engineering were added. At present, there are about 1450 students from across the length and breath of the country pursuing engineering under these departments. "
