The sound clips can be WAV, MP3, CAF, SND, AIF, or just about any other major audio format. The sounds can be as long as you please. With this app you can essentially reproduce any soundboard that exists, or create entirely new ones. All created soundboards support portrait and landscape iPad orientations and the button grid you create will automatically adjust to the way you have your iPad situated.
