With Tuner Radar you can tune various instruments. You can also detect the exact frequency of a sound. Tuner Radar is a precise tool for all your tone detecting purposes. Tuner Radar is clear, simple and works out of the box.
In Tuner Radar there are all the twelve notes (semitones) in an octave. The note that is nearest to your input sound is lit. When note sign shows red you are more than ten cents (of semitone) far from the note. When note sign shows yellow you are within ten cents of the correct note. When it shows green you are in tune!
In the middle of the Tuner Radar you can see the exact difference from the nearest note in cents. Below it you can see the octave of the nearest note.
At the bottom left of Tuner Radar you can see the exact frequency in Hertz of the input sound. At the bottom right you can see the perfect frequency of the nearest note.
Tap the screen to pause the application. This is useful if you want to analyze the results with time.
Technical details:
- Sampling rate 44 100.
- FFT 2^15 samples.
- Hann windowing.
- For sine signal the accuracy is |0.67| Hz.
- Some heuristics is used to improve accuracy.
