Wayfinder is an easy-to-use app that makes travelling on the underground stress-free and simple by taking you through the journey step-by-step. It identifies which station you’re starting at using GPS. Then you input your destination then follow the easy to understand directions.

This app was designed for people with certain kinds of cognitive difficulties, but is also suitable for old or young people, or anyone nervous about travelling on the tube.

Wayfinder features:

- Easy to understand, bitesize chunks of information

- Big, easy to read text and large buttons for ease of use

- Screen colour matches to tube line you need next

- Gives information on what signs to look for in the stations

- Planned updates: voice recognition and input, automatic step advancement (when wifi is available at all stations), version for buses and other modes of transport

- Please note: the app requires data access and GPS
