A must have app for all musicians, more so for Indian classical percussionists.Tihai - One of the most commonly used terms in the beat (Taal) system of Indian classical music refers to a phrase of certain number of beats which is played three times separated by a fixed interval. The phrase length is typically referred to as 'Matra' and the fixed interval as 'Gap'.The tihai builder app is a calculator tool that provides infinite combinations of tihai for beat cycles ranging from 4 beats to 16 beats. There are four different types of Tihai included in the app - Small, Long, Bedam and Farmayeshi.
