The Gospel Plane is the brainchild of one of the most popular and electrifying Gospel DJ’s in the U.S. Of course we’re referring to the legendary Broadcasting Mogul Walter Ross a/k/a the Mouth of the South. Over the years, the name Walter Ross has become synonymous with “Jammin for Jesus”, as this was the title of the radio show that Ross hosted for 20 plus years in the New Orleans Market. The Jammin for Jesus Show literally dominated the air waves in the New Orleans market and was the number one rated gospel radio show in the entire gulf south. After working for several broadcasting owners, Ross says he asked God to broaden his radio ministry and lead him in the direction of ownership within the radio broadcasting arena. Lo and behold, that request was granted in full in when Dove Broadcasting gave birth to The Gospel Train Plane and the rest is history.
