The Game of Life is not your typical game. It is a cell simulation that can entertain you for hours. It is a grid of cells that either live or die based upon a customizable set of variables. Each iteration, the pattern of live cells becomes more and more different. Change the variables to see how crazy you can get your grid of live cells to be or just leave the defaults to see some awesome patterns.

The Default Rules:

For a space that is 'populated':

Each cell with one or no neighbors dies, as if by loneliness.

Each cell with four or more neighbors dies, as if by overpopulation.

Each cell with two or three neighbors survives.

For a space that is 'empty' or 'unpopulated'

Each cell with three neighbors becomes populated.

In this simulation, you can customize the animation speed, the over-population variable, the loneliness variable and the re-spawn variable.

There are currently SEVEN separate beginning templates to choose from including some of the most famous patterns.
