Think of it as a "reverse metronome".For the adjudicator, when the performer begins to play, tap the screen 4 or more times matching the tempo of the music. Check the screen and see the actual tempo that was tapped in. Now you will know the actual tempo without having to work through the metronome, thus distracting you from the rest of the performance.To use, simply start the application and begin tapping. After a minimum of four (4) taps, the screen will accurately display the tempo with the tempo marking (Allegro, Presto, Largo, etc...) as listed on most standard metronomes.This is a tool that is a must for musicians, from professionals to the beginner.
