Ousmane (oos-man) Ndoye, or “The Fisherman” is known in Denver, Colorado as an inspirational speaker and the author of Stand with No Excuses: How to Pursue A Better Life and Lift Others for a Better World.
The Fisherman has overcome tremendous odds in order to survive and eventually immigrate to the United States to pursue his dreams of education and contribution. Ousmane Ndoye’s last name means “Fisherman” in his native country, Senegal. He has tranformed the literal meaning of his heritage into a metaphorical one for his unfaltering willingness to transform the most severe of circumstances into actions which yield dramatic results.
